This Privacy Policy explains how Scaleworks Studio (Scaleworks LLC)
("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when
you use the ScriptureGuessr iOS app (the "App").
1. Information we collect
A. Account and sign-in information
- We use Clerk to authenticate users.
- We receive an account identifier and any information you choose to share (name, email, profile image).
- If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple provides a unique identifier and, depending on your settings, your name and email address (or an Apple relay address if you use Hide My Email).
B. Gameplay and app data
- Scores, stats, streaks, preferences, and settings.
- Multiplayer data such as your display name, room participation, and game results visible to other participants.
C. Log and device information
- IP address and basic device/app information (device type, OS version, app version, timestamps).
- Used for security, fraud prevention, rate limiting, and service reliability.
We do not use third-party analytics or crash reporting tools in the iOS app.
2. How we use information
- Provide and operate the App and its features.
- Authenticate users and manage accounts.
- Enable multiplayer gameplay and leaderboards.
- Save and sync progress and preferences.
- Detect, prevent, and address security or technical issues.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. How we share information
We do not sell personal information.
- Service providers such as Clerk (authentication) and Vercel (hosting and logs).
- Real-time infrastructure providers that support multiplayer features.
- Other players in the same multiplayer room (display name and game results).
- Legal or regulatory authorities if required by law.
4. Data retention
- Account data is retained while your account is active.
- Log data (including IP addresses) is retained as needed for security and operations, consistent with our providers' policies.
- You can request deletion of your account data by contacting us.
5. Your choices and rights
- You can request access, correction, or deletion of your account data by contacting us.
- You can revoke Sign in with Apple at any time in your Apple ID settings.
- Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights under local law.
6. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. International transfers
If you access the App from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions with different data protection laws.
8. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the effective date when changes are made.

Overview
StrideMix is a running cadence app developed by Scaleworks LLC. It
plays a metronome beat in the background so it blends with whatever
audio you're already listening to — music, podcasts, YouTube, phone
calls, and more.
Data we do not collect
StrideMix does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. Specifically, the app does not collect:
- Your name, email address, or contact information
- Location data or GPS coordinates
- Health or fitness data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics or crash reports
- Audio, microphone, or media library access
How the app works
StrideMix functions entirely on your device. Your BPM settings are
stored locally using standard iOS system storage and are never
transmitted off your device. No account creation or sign-in is
required.
The app uses iOS background audio APIs to play the metronome sound
while other audio is active. This is a standard iOS system capability
and does not involve any data collection.
Third-party services
StrideMix does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising,
crash reporting, or tracking SDKs. The app makes no network requests.
Apple may collect certain diagnostic and usage data as part of the
iOS platform, subject to your device's privacy settings and Apple's
own privacy policy. Scaleworks LLC has no access to or control over
that data.
Children's privacy
StrideMix does not collect data from users of any age. The app is
safe for use by children as it contains no data collection, accounts,
or network connectivity.
Changes to this policy
If we ever update this policy, the revised version will be posted at
this URL with an updated effective date. Given that the app collects
no data, significant changes are unlikely.

The essentials
- Local-only by default. Location, waypoint, overlay, and offline map data are stored and processed on your device. They aren't transmitted to us unless you explicitly export them.
- No account required. You don't sign in. We don't know who you are.
- No analytics unless you opt in. Analytics are off by default. This build ships with no third-party analytics or ad SDKs.
- Encrypted waypoint storage. Saved waypoints use the app's private on-device store with iOS complete file protection — encrypted, and inaccessible while your device is locked.
- Optional app lock. Turn on Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode lock in Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Panic / reset. Clear all saved waypoints with one tap from Settings → Privacy & Security.
What data the app collects
Location data
The app accesses your device's GPS to display your position on the
map, record waypoints, and enable navigation. Location data is
processed on-device only and is never transmitted
to Scaleworks LLC or any third party by the app.
- Precise location is used while the app is in use (foreground).
- Background location is used only when you turn on background tracking to keep recording your path with the app minimized.
You can revoke location access at any time in
iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Ten Digit.
Waypoints and map data
Waypoints you create are stored locally on your device using the
app's private storage. You can export this data yourself via GPX,
CSV, KML, KMZ, or encrypted-layer export. No waypoint data is
transmitted to Scaleworks LLC or any third party by the app.
Online map tiles are downloaded from the selected map servers when
you have an internet connection and an online map style is selected.
Those requests may include the general area or map tiles you're
viewing, but they don't include a Ten Digit account because no
account is required. To reduce online map requests, use imported
MBTiles or downloaded offline regions.
What the app does not collect
- No account or identity information
- No advertising identifiers (IDFA)
- No analytics or usage data unless you opt in to a future analytics feature
- No third-party crash reporting
- No financial or payment information
- No contacts, photos, or other device data
Third-party services
The app uses MapLibre for map rendering — open
source, no data collection by Ten Digit. Online map tiles are
fetched from public or selected tile servers. Those servers may
receive area and tile requests for places you view. No third-party
SDKs that collect data are included in this build.
Your controls
- Disable location access in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Ten Digit.
- Enable or disable the app lock in Ten Digit Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Leave anonymous analytics disabled unless you explicitly opt in.
- Clear saved waypoints using the Privacy & Security panic/reset option.
- Use offline maps or imported MBTiles when you'd rather not make online tile requests.
Children's privacy
The app doesn't knowingly collect data from children under 13. It has no age-restricted content and is rated 4+.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top.
